Tithing is the main emphasis in this e-Newsletter because, like so many other people, I have learned that Tithing is a vital part of living a truly prosperous life. Most anyone can learn how to attract money, and many people do. Unfortunately, it rarely lasts. Consistently tithing -- giving back at least 10% of all you receive to the Source -- puts a solid spiritual foundation under your prosperity and makes it permanent.

Thrive means to increase, prosper, flourish, succeed, advance and progress. Thriving is prosperity, abundance, ease, easy street, well being. These are very desirable conditions and most people want all of them. My intention through T 'N T e-Newsletters is to help my readers better understand this essential part of true prosperity so that you do not merely survive, you THRIVE! You have my years of experience, learning and practice to draw from.

Open Your Mind to Receive

You should deliberately open your mind to receive because most of us have endured a pinched, narrow existence for no good reason. We have blocked our good from getting through to us in the process.

There's nothing divine about a pinched existence. There's nothing divine about a narrow, limited way of life. It proves nothing but the foolishness and ignorance of human beings who actually live in a universe of lavish abundance.

Those who lead a pinched, narrow existence are not expressing their true nature. They are only cheating themselves.

A newspaper reported on a manufacturer of T-shirts who had gone bankrupt. The story revealed why: Thinking it a joke, he had placed this slogan on the back of each T-shirt: "Money isn't everything."

This man could not mentally accept the idea of prosperity in the form of money. He had not opened his mind to receive, so of course, he did not.

You must be careful what you notice, talk about, or give your attention to, because that is what you are identifying with and that is what you will attract into your life.

Whatever you notice, you are inviting into your life.

Whatever you talk about, you are inviting into your life.

Whatever you identify with in your thoughts, words, and actions, you are inviting into your life.

If you notice, talk about, and identify with war, crime, disease, financial problems, or inharmony, this is what you are inviting into your life. Through the law of mind action, it will come.

You are wise to notice, talk about and identify with only the good, with plenty, with health, with peace, with love, with prosperity. Through the same mind action, these will manifest in your life. - Adapted from: Open Your Mind to Receive by Catherine Ponder

To Whom is the Tithe Paid?

One would naturally tithe at the point where he directly contacts a Spiritual work. This is not necessarily the largest Spiritual Organization, but that particular Individual or Organization or immediate source where you are receiving your direct Spiritual help or inspiration.

These are all stations in the great scheme of Spiritual building up of the human race. To serve the least of these is to serve the whole. Only through these Spiritual movements have the greatest ideals been preserved and they are worthy of the greatest cooperation.

To safeguard your own best interests, you should make your chosen channel of Spiritual refreshment as strong as possible. You should strive in thought, word, and deed to perfect that channel through which you receive. - Wells of Abundance by E. V. Ingraham

You Are Rich!

Think right about God, yourself, and money, and you will realize you are rich and money will flow more freely for you.

Stay close to God in prayer. Relying totally on the Source, cease all struggle and money will flow more easily and copiously in your life. When I say to stay close to God in prayer, I do not mean that you must constantly ask God for what you want. Begging and beseeching implies conscious separation from God and when this happens, the flow is cut off.

Staying close to God means to consciously practice the Presence of God all the time. It means to use positive words and prospering declarations of Truth. Positive prayer is affirming that God, you, money, and good are one. Remember, you live in the midst of Divine Substance, which is the energy that fulfills the desires of your heart. - From my book, The Secret of Multiplied Money.

Put God First!

You put God first by having faith in Him; trust in Him and believe that He is within you, helping you achieve the success you desire. You put Him first by recognizing God as the Source of all you need and desire, and by acknowledging that all that God creates is good.

You put God first by refusing to worry or be anxious; by not allowing doubt or fear to enter your mind. To the degree that you entertain doubt, worry and fear, you do not put God first. Put God first by freeing yourself forever from doubt, fear and worry.

Put God first by affirming His Presence and Power only. Be happy, positive, loving, joyous and forgiving.

Put God first by taking time daily for prayer in which you commune with God in the Silence within you. In that Silence, you know and feel His Presence and Power; you make the divine connection with His infinite love.

An exceptionally beneficial way to put God first is to tithe - consistently give back to God a tenth of your whole income. You put God first when you deeply know that God is adequate to provide for you.

Tithing is the very best way of stating that you know God as the source of your supply.

Tithers prosper because they wisely provide for their spiritual food.

In all you do, put God first. As you do, you are reminded throughout each day that God is present and taking care of every detail of your life.

Put God first. Then you know everything is in proper perspective and in divine order. Your success and prosperity are assured. - Lovingly, Rev. John

It Pays to be Grateful!

On of the surest ways to open the floodgates of prosperity is to sincerely give thanks to God, the source of your wealth, for all you've had, all you have now, and all you expect to have.

Praise yourself and thank God every day that He has given you the wisdom and understanding to prosper. Praise and give thanks for your talents and abilities. This will cause them to work even better for you.

Give thanks for little prosper blessings as well as the larger ones. When you are thankful for small blessings, this helps to bring forth larger blessings. Gratitude is a prosperity attitude.

Letter from a Prospering Friend

An inspiring letter from a friend in Ohio - A little long but worth reading.

Income improves tenfold! - This story is worthy of telling people. So, I'll start at the beginning.

In 1995 I was fired from a very, very good job. While I was fortunate to quickly find another job, the salary was significantly less than what I was making in my former role, and I also lost the use of a company car. It was during this most unlikely time, that I started to tithe 10% of my gross income. It seemed like a crazy time to take that leap of faith, but I decided that there probably was never going to be the "perfect" time to make that commitment.

Every paycheck I got, I diligently wrote out my tithe checks and put them in the mail. Amazingly, even though I was making about half of what I used to earn, there was always money left over after I paid the bills. Now having faith that my abundance came from God, I actually started tithing to the amount I wanted to earn in the future. Three years in a row, my raises matched 10x my tithes for the previous year. Within 6 years, I was making 7x what I used to earn at the job I was fired from.

I am a bit of a fanatic when it comes to making sure I tithe 10% of my gross income. Over the holiday season, I was tithing in advance of my paychecks and as the end of the year approached, I was busy matching up my Quicken reports labeled "tithing" to my gross salary just to make sure that I made good on my commitment to God for the 2006 calendar year.

On Friday, December 29th, I reviewed my checking account online to make sure my paycheck had been deposited. It had, but I also had a separate line item deposit from my company which said "Cash Transaction" for $6,000. As I sat staring at my computer screen, a huge smile crossed my face as I said "thank you, God, because, as promised, you returned to me 10x my original tithe of $600." I quickly wrote out $600 in tithe checks (one of which I mailed to your ministry) and then waited to see how this abundance had manifested into reality.

In today's mail, I received a letter from my company's payroll department, informing me that they had apparently shorted me $6,000 on a bonus check paid a few months back and that as a result of the audit, they had deposited the $6,000 in my checking account. They apologized for their mistake.

Try as I may, I cannot find any mistakes in any of my prior bonus payments, especially one totaling $6,000. It is indeed grand when you have faith that the abundance of God flows in and through you to bring abundance and prosperity into your life. It is never easy to take that HUGE step of faith to start tithing, but once you do, no matter what the circumstances, you will never forget to pay God first because your abundance will be overflowing making it easy to remember to write the tithe checks. - Love, WK

Where to Give Your Tithe

As in ancient times, your tithe is given where you are in direct contact with spiritual work. This does not necessarily mean the largest spiritual organization or predominate source where you receive clear spiritual help and inspiration. To give to the least of these is to give to the whole. Only through continuance of these spiritual individuals, organizations, and movements are the greatest ideals preserved. By supporting these with your tithes, you are actually supporting yourself.

Where to Give Your Tithe

Give your tithe to a church, ministry, spiritual organization, minister, or individual who is directly involved in spiritual work. Give where you are receiving your spiritual food, preferably where you are taught prosperity laws and principles that empower you to prosper.
