The Prosperity Law of Giving and Receiving
The Law of Tithing is the Law of Giving and Receiving. Through the practice of tithing, a definite connection is made between cause and effect. If there is a break in the process, a corresponding diminishing of the flow of Substance happens.
This is exemplified by the story of the Prodigal Son. He separated his inheritance from his father and soon came to want. The Law amplifies and perpetuates that which it acts upon. The Prodigal Son’s separation from his father is a mental separation. It is a conscious disconnect from the Source. Many people suffer the same thing and “come to want” like the Prodigal Son. When you consciously return to the Father, the inner spiritual connection is restored and you prosper. The Father is pure Love and loves to throw parties for His children.
Through tithing, the connection is secure and cannot be broken. There is no separation from the source of your wealth. Tithing keeps your financial, and all your affairs, in constant contact with the Source and Its creative power. The results of tithing are dependent upon faithful observance of the Law – the Law of Giving and Receiving.
When you faithfully tithe, you believe that God is adequate to provide for you. It gives you a real sense of peace of mind, and a good feeling of financial security. – Lovingly, Rev. John

Expect the Best!
We should expect the best and so live that the best may become part of our experience. When we dare to do that, we often make remarkable progress in a very short length of time!
It doesn’t matter what you have experienced in the past. If you will begin, right now, expecting the best, your expectancy will cause you to make remarkable progress quickly!
Expecting the best works on all levels of life. There once was a schoolteacher who always expected her students to do well in her classes, and they did. Those same students often did not do well in other classes, but they did so for this woman. She expected it, and it happened repeatedly.
The German poet and philosopher Goethe said, “Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and you will help them become what they are capable of becoming.” This teacher proved it.
An experiment was conducted in one school recently. Students from kindergarten through the fifth grade were placed under certain teachers. These teachers were told that these particular students were exceptionally brilliant, although the students were not exceptionally brilliant. They were simply normal.
Nevertheless, these normal students made brilliant marks in school that year. Also, they were far happier than the children around them.
Why? They responded to the positive expectations of their instructors. When the teachers considered them the best of the students, they became so.
When you dare to expect the best for yourself and for others, you open the way for the best to come to you, and often very quickly. In any event, you make tremendous progress just by thinking this way: “Nothing but the Best!” – Adapted from: Open Your Mind to Receive by Catherine Ponder
Prosperity Power Affirmations
With God as my Source,
I expect the Best and Receive the Best!
Twofold Answer to Prayer – Within ten days of beginning to use the special prosperity prayer you sent to me, I attracted a $2,000 job from a new client. (I am a free-lance writer.) I also attracted a wonderful new love relationship within the first two weeks. I will continue speaking the special affirmative prayer. My grateful tithe is enclosed. I am grateful for all you do. – Washington
Release of Tithes Brings Increase! – For three months I had been expecting to receive a certain check for quite a large sum of money. Even though I had called several times, and was told they were working on it, it still didn’t come. Then I released my tithes from ‘unexpected’ income. A few days later, my check was in my mail box! I have learned my lesson! Enclosed is my tithe from that check and a “Thank-Offering” for a special Christmas Prayer request. Thank you for your prayers. I am so grateful! – California
A great help in realizing permanent prosperity is to come into the realization that we do not work to earn money to meet our expenses! This is a delusion of mortal mind. In reality, in earning money we are expressing our God-given faculties and powers to bless others, and to keep our part of the divine law of giving and receiving. The supply is a gift of God and is ours because it is a part of God’s plan. We are to accept it in faith as such. Expect it to come, and it will. – Myrtle Fillmore
Tithing is putting God first. Tithing makes prosperity’s demonstration a way of life. – Jim Rosemergy
Wealth is a subconscious conviction. Build into your mentality the idea of wealth. Repeat the word, “Wealthy” to yourself slowly and quietly for about five minutes prior to sleep and your subconscious will bring wealth to pass in your experience. – Joseph Murphy
