In the December edition of Health & Healing Newsletter, I gave you ideas for having a Healthy Christmas. The same ideas and suggestions are true for the New Year. Here are some ideas that are powerful to heal anyone’s mind, body and finances. We will deal with the latter in the Prosperity Newsletter.
Forgiveness is great healing power. This is true because anyone who does not forgive, is often angry, resentful, bitter, and entertains thoughts of revenge or getting even. When one dwells on these things, they destroy one’s peace of mind. Not only that, they set up a negative, toxic vibration in the body.
Healing is experienced through the practice of the presence of God. God is love. When anyone is angry and resentful, and does not forgive, they are not practicing the presence of God. The Golden Key to health and healing is to practice the presence of God. In other words to give one’s whole thought to God as Love. I do not mean to think only of Love and nothing else, but to consciously let Love permeate your thoughts, feelings and action. This will assure peace of mind and a healthy body. When I speak of Love, I mean the Love that God is: Divine Love.
“There is nothing weak about Divine Love. Divine Love is the strongest, most powerful force in the universe. Divine Love is so strong, when invoked, it will heal and harmonize any inharmonious situation. Divine Love always brings forth perfect results. In any undesirable situation, invoke the power of Divine Love.” (Quote is from my book: Rev. John’s Divine Love Plan*.)
One who gives a lot of attention to practicing Divine Love, which is practicing the presence of God, outgrows the need to forgive because they no longer condemn. They live in peace and enjoy their healthy freedom. – Lovingly, Rev. John
*Rev. John’s Divine Love Plan is recommended to anyone who sincerely desires to create a life of love, peace, health, and to Live Life Lovingly.
Your Subconscious Tends Life-ward
Over 90 percent of your mental life is subconscious, so men and women who fail to make use of this marvelous power live within very narrow limits.
Your subconscious processes are always life-ward and constructive. Your subconscious is the builder of your body and maintains all its vital functions. It is on the job 24/7 and never sleeps. It is always trying to help and preserve you from harm.
Your subconscious mind is in touch with infinite life and boundless wisdom, and its impulses and ideas are always life-ward. The great aspirations, inspirations, and visions for a grander and nobler life spring from the subconscious. Your subconscious speaks to you in intuitions, impulses, hunches, intimations, urges, and ideas, and it is always telling you to rise, transcend, grow, advance, adventure, and move forward to greater heights.
Your subconscious will make and keep you well. The important thing is to feed it positive, loving thoughts and words. You build a new body every eleven months. Change your body by changing your thoughts and keeping them changed. It is normal to be healthy. It is abnormal to be ill. Negative thoughts tear down and destroy your body. Positive, loving thoughts build up and energize your body with infinite life. Affirm the good and enter into the joy of living. – (Adapted from: The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy)
Whether you or a loved one is experiencing a physical or emotional challenge, affirm wholeness and hold thoughts of healing in mind. Continue to generate thoughts of health during the day, affirming that the life force of God is strengthening every organ and tissue of your body.
An ongoing vitality is constantly renewing your body and refreshing your soul. Divine energy is constantly flowing through you, healing and renewing every cell.
Visualize the wholeness that has already come into expression and the greater well-being that is coming into full expression. Give thanks for the energizing, revitalizing power of Spirit that is continually moving in and through your entire being. Gratefully accept your newness of life.
Healthy Positive Prayer
Fully and freely forgiving myself and others,
I now enjoy peace of mind, and a happy, healthy body.
Sometimes the soul gets so anxious about what it wishes to do that it tends to neglect the body. This is not fair to the body nor to those who much take care of the body when it is neglected. – Myrtle Fillmore
If you do not run your subconscious mind yourself, someone else will run it for you. – Florence Scovel Shinn
No matter how sick or weak or inefficient you seem to be, take your eyes and thoughts right off the seeming, and turn them within to the central fountain there, and say calmly, quietly, but with steadfast assurance: “This appearance of weakness is false; God, manifest as life, wisdom, and power, is now flowing into my entire being healing and restoring my body to health and wholeness.” – Emily Cady
The greatest mistake you can make in life is to continually fear that you will make one. – Elbert Hubbard
