SING FOR HEALTH!

When Myrtle Fillmore heard a Dr. Weeks say that she was a child of God, therefore she did not inherit sickness as she had been taught, she began to affirm this to be true for her. She declared over and over, “I am a child of God therefore I do not inherit sickness.” She went on to declare other healthy affirmations and was eventually completely healed. This was the beginning of UNITY in 1889. UNITY has taught the affirmative way to pray ever since. It is scientific and supremely more effective than begging or beseeching God to hopefully heal you.

A powerful affirmation is: Health and Strength and Healing Power Vibrate through me hour after hour.

I have used this truth statement for many years always with satisfying results. Early on, a Unity Joy song using this statement was created. It goes to the tune of HARK! THE HERALD ANGELS SING.

It’s easy to sing. Just repeat the words through the song. Singing is very healing because it sets up a high positive vibration in your body as it treats your mind. When you sing positive Truth words, you cause a joyful healthy vibration to move through every cell of your body.

As you sing this song/words, put your hand on your chest and feel the vibration. Sing the song several times and vary the way and sound. You will absolutely feel better immediately, and experience healing and health in your whole being. It is nothing less than Divine Love in action.

God Is Your Source!

Ever since the beginning of UNITY, it has been taught that it is right to be just as prosperous as possible using spiritual methods. The Fillmores taught that God is the Source of supply. They also taught that God is within you as omnipresent Spirit. This means that you need look outside yourself for the greater good you desire.

Too often, people have the erroneous belief that their employer, other people, or the government is the source of their prosperity, but this is not true. God is the source! Always has been. Is now, and always will be!

Since this is true, you are wise to affirm this and accept it as so for you. Use this powerful affirmation often: GOD IS THE SOURCE OF MY SUPPLY, AND I AM ALWAYS ABUNDANTLY PROVIDED FOR.

The way to increase your prosperity is to increase your awareness and realization of God within yourself. In other words, to have more on the outside, have more of God on the inside.
