While talking one day with Dr. Emma M. Smiley, who was then the Divine Science minister of Victoria (B.C.) Truth Centre, she revealed to me an essential lesson for living. She told me that teachers in her Children’s Church of the Golden Key, were instructed that when a child was upset, or not cooperative, they were to stop what they were doing and to love that child. This was very effective, always calming the child and bringing out the best in him or her, and taught a vital lesson to the other children, as well.
The Golden Key to living life more positively and productively, it is essential to put more loving into your living. By this I mean to be consciously in tune with this highest vibration of divine energy. In other words, to let Divine Love be fully alive within them and to radiate from them. When more people learn this, they will be amazed at the results.
A dear friend will soon publish a new book entitled, What Would Love Do, Right Now? It is a wonderful idea! You might try this for yourself when you are faced with a seemingly undesirable situation, or a difficult, misguided person. You might ask, “What can I do to put more loving into this situation?” Or, “How can I give more love to this person?” When anyone, child or adult is misbehaving, it is always a cry for love. They are saying, in-effect, “please love me!”
A valuable and highly effective exercise is to completely refrain from and refuse to Criticize, Complain, or Condemn anyone or anything, including yourself. Whenever you might catch yourself doing any of these harmful things, switch to Love. Ask yourself, “How may I love this person more?” Or, “What is the good in this situation?” Then purposefully love everything and everyone involved in that situation. Remember to love yourself.
Never keep track of wrongs. What was done is done. What’s in the past deserves to remain in the past. Bitterness and resentfulness are cancer-producers. They also effectively block your financial supply. You simply cannot afford these harmful emotions.
Add to this, refusing to feel guilty or fearful. Love is the golden answer to every challenge in life. This is absolutely true because God is Love.
To put more loving into your living, do this for the next 30, 60, or 90 days: Absolutely refuse to criticize, complain, or condemn anything or anyone, and send them love-lots of it! And, love yourself! There is more good in everyone than might appear. When you love someone enough, something wonderful will happen.
Namaste! –Rev. John
Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love never ends. – I Corinthians 13: 4-8

It uplifts your faith to the highest level. From this you know your prayer is answered.
Bytes of Wisdom …
The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them. – Thomas MertonChildren need love, especially when they do not deserve it. – Harold Herbert Fear and love can never be experienced at the same time. It is always our choice as to which of these emotions we want. – Gerald JampolskyI have no regrets. I will never regret loving someone because the feeling of love for five minutes is greater than an eternity of hurt. – Kurt Langner

A Little Humor …
A farmer invited a preacher out to his ranch for dinner, after the Sunday morning services. The clergyman accepted. After the meal, the farmer asked the minister to drive around the ranch with him. The minister took a good look at the place as, in his mind he evaluated the future possibilities. When the two men arrived back at the house, the farmer said: “Now shall we go in and you can pray for a good crop?” The minister, who was quite wise, looked the farmer squarely in the eye, and answered: “Brother this farm does not need prayer as much as it needs FERTILIZER!” – Adolph N.
