Emmet Fox wrote: “The real object in demonstrating supply is this, that as long as you are pressed for money you cannot really think about anything else.”
When you do not know where the money to pay the rent or mortgage payment is coming from, and especially if others are dependent upon you, that problem will consume your thinking. It will keep you from focusing on Universal Supply which is always present.
The most important thing in life is to know God as your instant, constant, and abundant supply; that God is more than adequate to meet every need. God is the omnipresent Substance that fulfills your every good desire.
I wrote in my book, The Secret of Multiplied Money, “Substance is limitless. In Truth, there is no beginning and no end to Substance. Therefore, it can never be depleted.
It loves to be used and just because you are thinking in it and drawing upon it for the fulfillment of your desires, you do not diminish it whatsoever. Magically, or mystically, it rushes in so-to-speak, to fill any seeming void. But, of course, there is never a void of Substance.”
You can completely depend upon Substance to provide for you. When you remember that Substance and God are the same, then your dependency is really upon God. Sometimes, someone will write and ask us for prayer several times and repeat the same problems, and maybe say that nothing is happening. That is because their focus is on lack of supply rather than upon God, the source. I always encourage them to re-direct their attention.
When they stop letting thoughts of financial lack fill their minds and focus their attention upon God amazing things happens. They begin to feel better, more peaceful, and before long they report that money is flowing more easily in their lives. This is always the blessed result when you consciously unite with the Source. Substance then has a clear channel through which to richly bless you, and it does. – Lovingly, Rev. John
