A wealthy businessman once told me that he always asks for divine guidance concerning matters of major important. Then he waits for 48 hours before making decisions regarding those matters while he keeps open and receptive. He follows that with action according to the guidance received. He said that this method of handling important things has never failed him and best of all, has helped to make him a millionaire!

Using this system, he once purchased a failing business. From appearances, it was an unwise move, but he acted on the guidance he received and bought it anyway. He succeeded in turning it into a very profitable business, ran it for several years and sold it for a very good profit.

This man was greatly in demand as a speaker and consultant. It seems that others placed a high value on his ability to solve problems and turn a profit which is the name of the game in business.

Divine guidance is yours for the asking. Florence Scovell Shinn pointed out in her book, The Game of Life and How to Play It, "There is nothing too great (or too small) of accomplishment for the man who knows the power of his word, and who follows his intuitive leads. By his word he starts in action unseen forces and can rebuild his body or remold his affairs."

I have found this to be true. Countless numbers of times, when needing to know how to proceed, I have spoken the word (affirmations) as I opened my mind to divine guidance. This process has never failed me and I continue to enjoy the ever-increasing good that comes from doing so.

A number of years ago, I was offered a position in another part of the country. If I accepted, it would have been an answer to prayer for increased prosperity, but would require my family to move. Realizing that God was in both places, I asked for guidance and waited. Soon it became clear to stay where I was, which subsequently proved to be the right choice.

God has never failed anyone and is not about to. The golden key is to really ask. Then wait and listen. Be alert. Guidance may come immediately, but often it comes after you have released the matter and busied yourself with something else.

It may even awaken you in the middle of the night! But, come it will when you really want it to and keep open and receptive. When it comes, follow through by acting upon that guidance. The voice of intuition never lies. It knows. Trust it.

Another way to always be divinely guided is through the practice of tithing, the giving back to God, one-tenth of your whole income. This is true because it keeps you in constant contact with not only the source of all wealth, but with divine wisdom, the all-knowingness of Divine Mind. Read, "Why Tithe?

Never say you don't know what to do. If you say that you are really saying that you are not consciously connected with God, the source of all wisdom, all knowledge, and therefore, you have stopped the flow of divine guidance. In truth you can never be unconnected with God, the source of all your good.

So when you pray and ask for guidance you will get it. You will always know what to do, and be wisely guided when you ask God to reveal the right way to proceed. God never fails. He never has, and never will. With God, all things are possible. Divinely guided, your success is inevitable!
