Release, Let Go, Expect the Best!

Now, it is a good idea to release the old year and along with it any regrets, and limiting thoughts and feelings. Freely and lovingly let go of the old and get ready for the new with great expectations.

The New Year is imminent. It is the time when you will be doing those things that you were going to do "right after the first of the year." Before embarking on doing those things, it's a good idea to get rid of any lingering negative feelings related to the old year. Release and let them go.

Open your mind to all the possibilities in the New Year. Just think! You have 365 new daily opportunities to work on and fulfill your dreams. Right now, make a list of your intentions for 2009. At the top of your list, write: PEACE OF MIND. That is most important. Then write: PRACTICE THE PRESENCE OF GOD. When you do, you are peaceful. Next write: BE THE LOVE THAT I AM. Love is your fulfilling power. Follow this with: PRACTICE THE 'GRATITUDE ATTITUDE.' Being genuinely grateful is supremely powerful to make your life truly wonderful. Next write: EXPECT THE BEST.

You usually get what you expect. So, expect the best! Refuse to accept anything less. Of course, when you expect the best, it means you will do your best.

After these, write your other intentions and keep your list handy. Pray for guidance each day and you will be led in doing whatever God intends for you to do in the fulfilling of your intentions.
