The Gift of Giving - Part Three

Emmet Fox wrote: "The most important of all things to possess is Peace of Mind. . . . Peace of mind includes all other things. Peace of mind is positively the greatest of all of God's gifts." Here are ways to give yourself The Greatest Gift:

Meditate daily. Focus on Peace, be still.

Whenever anything that might be upsetting happens, breathe deeply a few times.

Do not judge. Don't get emotionally caught up in negative appearances. Peacefully observe.

Before starting a new project, get sill and center yourself in the peace of God within.

Accept yourself as a loving, forgiving, peaceful person who practices peace, no matter what.

In prayer, ask God to give you the peace that passes all understanding (and misunderstanding).

Take time during the holiday season (and other times) and get a good massage.

Prioritize what needs to be done by you. Make a to do list then eliminate half of them!

Avoid alcohol. Peace of mind doesn't come in bottles!

Let go all guilt, doubt, worry, resentment and fear.

Peace of mind springs from a peaceful heart - the Heart of God in you.

Feel your oneness with the Peace of God and you will have The Greatest Gift: Peace of Mind! - Have a peaceful Christmas! - Rev. John
