Faith Expectancy

Eric Butterworth wrote: "The faith that is required to demonstrate prosperity is not simply a pious pronouncement. Faith is expectancy. You do not receive what you want; you do not receive what you pray for, not even what you say you have faith in. You will always receive what you actually expect."

It is true that the creative process is always at work in you and not just when you say you have faith. The activity of Universal Mind is continually at work in you, not only when you affirm prosperity or healing prayers.

Sometimes people pray as though they are trying to awaken God to their needs. However, it is not God Who needs to be awakened; it is people who are asleep to their spiritual potential, which is always present.

Faith is your divine connection with Universal Substance in which you are aware of the presence and possibility of your desires as fulfillment. Therefore, you should expect to receive what you desire when you place your faith in God. Expectancy opens the door of the soul to vast, unlimited universal abundance. When you say you believe you receive, then expect to actually have the desires of your heart. Act as though it's already a done deal, which it is. - Lovingly, Rev. John
