H  G  I  A

In last Monday's Positive Living E-Zine, I wrote about H  G  I  A and why it is so much better than P  L  O  M. H  G  I  A stands for HOW GREAT I AM. By declaring that I am great, or in knowing that you are great, I do not mean anything egotistical but what I really am and you really are.

First off, I AM is the name of God in you, it is called The Christ. It is your handle of power, as I wrote in my new NOW Power book.

It is not uncommon for someone to think or believe himself to be not very great, in fact, too often, people believe themselves to be much less than the loving, wise, deserving child of God that they truly are. Usually, we think of God as great, but fail to think of ourselves in the same way. But remember, we are made in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, since God is great, then so are we.

What makes God great? Love! Within Love are all life, faith, substance, wisdom, intelligence and perfection. Since you are made in the image and likeness of God, then you are that which God is, and that makes you great. You could also think of yourself as wonderful, beautiful, wise, loving, intelligent, and perfect. It is much better than thinking of yourself in any lesser way.

One of the biggest deterrents to enjoying a happy, healthy, successful and abundant life is thinking of yourself as much lesser than how God thinks of you. It is true: God never creates junk. God can only create that which is like Himself: Great! Love! Wise! Happy! Perfect!

Right now, begin thinking of how great you are. Print on cards: H G I A, and place where they'll remind you that you are God's wise, loving, deserving child made in His image and likeness. You ARE Great! Accept this now and live the great life God intends for you to live. - Lovingly, Rev. John
