The Cure for PLOM

Be Transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Are you suffering from PLOM disease? It is contagious and can actually be fatal. Unfortunately, many people are. They expend a lot of good energy that could otherwise be put to better use. PLOM stands for "Poor Little Old Me." It is caused by focusing on what you don't to have, and feeling separated from God.

If you engage in that kind of thinking, which is feeling sorry for yourself because of focusing on what you apparently lack, you tend to make yourself and your surroundings miserable. This attracts to you, more negative experiences to support your PLOM addiction. It is little wonder that Life may not treat you better.

If, on the other hand, you often count your blessings and look at your fellow humans, it's possible for you to realize that you are better off than many people. Counting your blessings is a real cure for PLOM disease.

Prayer Brings Happy Solution! - I've been reading your book, BE What You Are: LOVE, and am enjoying it very much. It helped me with a recent situation. The person who owns the place I had just moved out of, thought that I owed him something so he said he was going to keep a piece of furniture which I really liked. I told him, "Fine, if you really want it, you can keep it."
