Holding Patterns

Are you in a holding pattern? It is apparent to me that many people are. If you have flown in a Jet Airliner, you have probably experienced being in a holding pattern at one time or another. That is when, because of a storm, fog, or the airport is too congested with other airliners. So, the pilot must fly the plane around and around in a holding pattern, waiting until it is safe to land.

Holding patterns can be good or not good. In my many years as a minister and counselor, I have observed that some people are locked into beliefs in sickness. They seem to focus on it and so they experience that. With others, it's beliefs of themselves as unworthy of success and prosperity, together with a poor connection with the Source. So their holding pattern is struggle and never enough money.

Still others seem to go around and around in patterns of unforgiveness, anger, and resentment which are created by a belief in fear and a lack of love. This, too, indicates a disconnection from the Source. They stay stuck in negative holding patterns.

So, what is the answer? It is creating positive holding patterns that are created through prayer and meditation in which one is wholly focused on God. The more you practice the presence of God in meditation, the easier it is to practice His presence in life. This leads to getting "locked in" to a consciousness of God. It is returning to the Father's house of love.

Love is the highest and best "holding pattern" to be in. Then, regardless of what may be going on "on the ground" or in your life; stormy or foggy, unclear conditions, you fly high above it all. Not only is love the best kind of holding pattern, when accompanied by wisdom, peace, joy, positivity, and prosperous thinking, it opens the way so that you land safely into a new life that is happy, healthy and successful.
