Love and Abundance

Part Two of Four

One of the basic teachings of Unity is that environments, circumstances, and conditions that you experience first exist as ideas in your mind, either consciously or subconsciously. The great secret of love is to learn how to clear non-prospering ideas from your consciousness. Then you clear inharmonious experiences and relationships from your life, and you are free to prosper.

If you have been experiencing less that abundant prosperity, then you would be wise to take a good look at your thoughts and feelings; your beliefs. Within you lies the key to your success or lack thereof. In other words, you must create within your own consciousness, right ideas of abundance in order to experience it outwardly.

Fortunately, you can do that. When you deal in the right way with your own thoughts and feelings, circumstances around you will change accordingly.

A young man who had started his own business, at first had great plans for success. When it didn't prosper as he expected, he puzzled. Fortunately, he was guided to a spiritual counselor who probed into this young man's thinking and core beliefs. It was revealed that the young man had severe doubts and fears, failed to truly invoke the power of love, and had not invited God to be his senior Partner.

Upon seeing the light, he set about changing his thinking, spent more time in meditation in which he practiced the presence of God. Focusing on love, he made of himself, a radiating irresistible magnet. And, he made God His senior business Partner through tithing.

This young man had found the success formula that prospered him in a big way. Practice the Presence of God. Invoke the power of love. Think upwardly and prosperously. Tithe. It will work for you, too. Go for it with all your heart! - Lovingly, Rev. John
