Change Begins Within

Being tense is good in some situations, but not in prayer, when you are seeking to achieve an important goal, or to be victorious over a difficulty.

According to the Bible, God said, "Let there be Light, and there was Light." It doesn't say anything about being tense or stressed out.

To desire success is a good thing but to achieve it too tensely often causes one to miss it. The carefree approach in anything that you undertake shortens the time of achievement and makes the journey so much more enjoyable.

Recently, I watched the Women's College World Series on TV. It was interesting to note that while the team members were totally focused on what they were doing, they still appeared relaxed and intent upon having a good time. That is the way it should be because it is a game they play. (Arizona State won!)

Life is a game, too. Far too often people will treat life like it is meant to be a challenge; they must struggle to be happy and really enjoy life. Once in a while I see one of those bumper stickers which declare: Easy does it! Life is much better when we take the easy approach.

Treat your work like fun. If you can't do that, find work that is fun. In whatever you do, take the light approach. If you are seeking employment, relax in the realization that God knows where all the (good) jobs are, especially yours, and He is revealing it to you now. Spend a little extra time in meditation in which you open your mind to all that God is and invite His Light to fill your whole being. God is the Big Easy. Relax, let go and let Him do His work through you. Let Him love through you. Let Him give through you. Let Him achieve through you. Then you can truly say, "I am about my Father's business." The Healing Word

You can be healed, for it is the Peace within that heals. The functions of the body are functions of Peace. Every physical activity is God's Peace, His intelligence and His Strength acting in one of God's own ways.

Let be. Forget your physiology, lay aside your troubles. God has Peace and He has it for you. It is God's Love that heals. It is your knowing and your quiet resigned acceptance of His Love that heals. Let Love and Peace do their work.
