What to do about troublesome people

The usual way of dealing with troublesome people is to resist, ignore, or fight back and try to change them. If they are family members or neighbors, that can be a challenge. If they are people who just show up in your life, you may just want to get away from them. There is a positive way to deal with troublesome people that gives you peace of mind and helps you both to be the best you can be. The good news is that it is very effective. Here are three things you can do:

1. Golden Key them. The way you do this is to say, "Now I am going to Golden Key so and so." Then you withdraw all thought of the negative aspects surrounding them and declare several times: "God is Love", "God is Life", "God is Wisdom", "God is Peace", "God is in me", "God is in him (her)", and other things you know God to be.

2. Behold the Christ in them. This means to see them as God sees them as beings of Love, Life, Wisdom, Light, Goodness, Peace and Joy. This may seem difficult to do, but with practice it gets easier and the results are wonderful.

3. Love them. This, too, may seem difficult, but when you practice #1, it will be easier. Troublesome people are usually coming from fear and are seeking love. Everyone needs and wants to be loved. Isn't this true with you? You don't have to approve of what they do, just love them. It is easier and more effective when you come from Love; be the Love that you are. As with #1 and #2, it gets easier with practice, and is positively beneficial to you and them. The good news is that harmony will be created between you and them, or they will move peacefully out of your life. Prove this for yourself and you will live life lovingly. - Lovingly, Rev. John
