Celebrate Love - 365!

Happy Valentines Day! On this special day, there is probably more love expressed than on any other. That is great and most desirable. If you are on the receiving end of love expressed by someone who genuinely loves you, then you are immensely blessed. Even as great as that is, the giver is even more blessed. With this in mind, doesn't it seem that it would be worthwhile to give and receive love in this degree for 365 days of the year? That much love multiplied 365 times would be so great no instruments could measure its positive impact on individuals and our world. Our planet would take on a beautiful pink and golden glow!

When you understand love, you have conquered the world. Since this is true, it is amazing that more people haven't caught on to this. Understanding love is the key to individual and world peace and harmony. Rather than fighting and destroying and trying to force each other to change, it makes a lot more sense to love enough so that we all accept ourselves and each other as we truly are: beings of light and love who are capable of, and who would rather live in peace and harmony.

When you express love, you have reached the highest pinnacle that any human being can reach. When you know love you have absorbed all the wisdom available to you. This means the wisdom to make of yourself the most open and free instrument of love that you can possibly be. That includes not just expressing love to other people, but in everything you do: work, play, driving, politics, communications, every aspect of business and every day life.

It would certainly be wonderfully life and world-changing if we made February 14th, 2010 the first day of 365 days of expressing love-the love that we are-in the same or greater degree. Then next year, celebrate love by keeping it going! To live life lovingly is the highest and best way to live. - Lovingly, Rev. John

A Little Humor. . .

At Abilene Christian University in Texas, I struggled to make ends meet. Once, I sold a valuable Bible and used the proceeds to buy 50 damaged cans of tuna fish. For weeks, it was me, my studies and Chicken of the Sea. When a friend invited me to his home for dinner, I was overjoyed at the prospect of a home-cooked meal. As we walked in the door, his wife announced, "I made one of your favorites, dear. Tuna casserole." - Ken Sellars

Prayers Bring Abundance! - God bless all of you who have been praying with me. When I first wrote to you, I had no job and hundreds of dollars in bills. I am happy to report that all the bills are paid and I have a lot of money left over. A lady, for whom I had done some work several months ago, sent me a check for $150 in appreciation. I am now working for a good company and have excellent benefits and a great bonus plan. Needless to say, I am very happy and thankful! Prayer surely does bring abundance.
