Celebrate life by giving thanks for every blessing you have received and for the many blessings you know are coming to you. Give thanks for family and friends who bless your life, and for the opportunity to know and love them. Consider each moment you spend with them a priceless gift.

Thank God often for the home in which you live and for answering your prayers, usually at just the right time and in the right way. The world God created provides for everything you could possibly need to live life abundantly. Realizing this, your heart should be filled with gratitude and it is easy for you to say, "Thank You, God."

Celebrate life by living every day in gratitude and thanksgiving for the marvelous gift of life that God has given you. As you do this, everything will improve: The health of your body, your relationships, your finances, and your peace of mind. A Little Humor. . .

My year in Vietnam over, I boarded a charter jet at Bien Hoa Air Base for the trip home. I was the only officer on the plane, and I struck up a conversation with my seatmates, two enlisted men. As we were served our in-flight meal, one of the soldiers said to me, "It's sure nice sitting next to a full colonel."
