The Gratitude Attitude - The Secret to Enriching Your Life. - Part Two

Look around you and give thanks for what you see. If your surroundings are not as beautiful as you would like them to be, bless and give thanks for them, anyway. Then do whatever you can to improve the situation. Give thanks for your ability to do so.

When you bless your surroundings, you set up a loving vibration that will make them better and bring more desirable circumstances. It is a wonderful way to practice the Gratitude Attitude!

A very helpful practice is to make a list of at least ten things you have to be thankful for. At the top of the list, write the person whom you love the most, then follow with other people and things. Never say you don't have at least ten things to be grateful for. After spending some time on your list, you will be surprised at how long it gets! Make your "grateful" list and give thanks for your many blessings.

A woman in Puerto Rico, who has written to me quite often, always tells me some of the things she is thankful for - most of them being her family and the good things that are happening to them. She expresses her gratitude for God's goodness to her and her loved ones. This lady is truly prosperous in gracious ways!

If life has been rather difficult for you, or if you have not prospered to the degree that you desire, try the Gratitude Attitude for at least thirty days. As you do, look for things to be grateful for - even little seemingly inconsequential things, as well as the big, apparently more important ones.

Let love well up within you and be expressed in thanksgiving to God for you being alive as well as for all of His blessings. If your blessings seem limited, you will increase them by being grateful for each one you already have. Write them on your list! - More on the Gratitude Attitude next week. - Lovingly, Rev. John
